New Isolation Service ManifoldEnsuring the safety of your lab team, test specimens and test systems requires careful control of hydraulic distribution. The MTS Isolation Service Manifold (ISM) allows you to manage hydraulic fluid flow more precisely during a wide range of normal and unforeseen events.
At hydraulic system start up, the ISM communicates with the system controller to eliminate integral wind-up that can unintentionally destroy a specimen. In case of unexpected system shutdown, the ISM uses a cascading sequence to carefully bring down the entire distribution system while a redundant over-pressurization relief valve protects the nearest test system.
Placed between the hydraulic power unit (HPU) and the hydraulic service manifold (HSM), the ISM helps prevent system over-pressurization, provides sequenced system pressure discharge and allows full hydraulic power isolation downstream. It works with MTS Series 293 and 298 HSMs, and MTS Series 497 and FlexTest® controllers, and can be adapted for other HPUs and HSMs.
Choose from three models with flow capacities of 200, 400 or 1000 lpm (50, 100, 250 gpm). Setup is easy, whether you are configuring it with a new test system or adding it to an existing one. The maintenance valve allows efficient fluid draining, leaving only a residual coating of oil for cleaner maintenance. The compact design takes up very little floor space, and easy-to-read gages display precise pressure out and in, drain pressure and return pressure in the manifold.
