Calibration Laboratory
The MTS office has 7 engineers, serving the UK.
Our office address is:- Brook House, Somerford Court,
Somerford Road, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, GL7 1TW.
Calibration is the verification of your system in force or
length by personnel who are approved by, and whose equipment is traceable to a
recognized accrediting body. In the UK this is UKAS. You may require traceable
calibration to meet your customer’s standards, or those of a recognized
international standard such as IS09000 and QS9000. MTS Systems Ltd quality
systems also meet or exceed ISO 9001.
MTS in the UK, welcome requests for calibration services for
all material and component test systems made by MTS Systems Corporation. We
would also be pleased to offer quotations for non-MTS manufactured systems.

What is important About a UKAS Report/ Certificate?
It is your assurance of a number of important factors; that the work has been
carried out to the highest standard by technicians examined and approved by UKAS
following extensive theoretical and practical training; that the laboratory
issuing the certificate has been stringently assessed by independent experts;
that you are assured that specified methods and procedures have been followed.
Calibration process
The work will be carried out by an MTS Systems fully trained engineer who will
provide a calibration report of the results obtained at the time of the visit. A
traceable UKAS certificate will subsequently be despatched to you within a
two-week period following the visit to your premises.
