MTS Five-Axis Ball Joint Test System
The Five-Axis Ball Joint Test system makes setting up and analyzing ball joint test data intuitive. The system applies vertical, lateral, longitudinal, rotational, and oscillation loads to two specimens simultaneously. Integrated load cells monitor forces, while the controller transforms load and motion data into an “in-car” specimen coordinate frame. The system can be upgraded to enable time history simulation of the service vibration environment.

MTS Four-Axis Ball Joint Durability Test System
Confidently investigate the durability of ball joints. This system applies simultaneous vertical, lateral, rotational, and oscillatory loads to a single ball joint specimen. This robust, easy-to-use test system features coordinated load control in the vertical and lateral axes, and displacement control of oscillation and rotation actuators.

Three Axis Ball Joint Test
Designed for testing inner ball joint specimens, this system applies tilt, rotation, and axial loads to tie-rod end specimens.

Ball Joint Seal Durability Test System
This system tests the durability of ball joint seals by applying rotation and oscillation motion to ten tets specimens simultaneously.  Our robust, self-reacting test fixture carries an integrated environmental chamber that can apply humidity, temperature, and slurry.  The system's top-loading design makes accessing specimens easy and efficient.  Stainless steel fixtures protect against corrosion.
