MTS 1.5 m and 3.0 m Uniaxial Seismic Simulators evaluate the performance of structures during earthquake conditions with superior quality, reliability and cost-efficiency. They are ideal for labs that perform basic research and component qualification tests, do not require the unique capabilities of a customized system, and prefer quick installation and integration into existing facilities.
Like the larger custom seismic systems we develop, these standard uniaxial simulators employ state-of-the-art FlexTest® control technology to reproduce the exact displacement, velocity and acceleration of an earthquake event, supporting the delivery of reliable, credible test results.
Other system highlights include a maximum of specimen size of 2 tons (1.5 m system) and 10 tons (3.0 m system), fatigue-rated actuators, intuitive software, and quiet, clean SilentFlo™ hydraulic power units.
