MTS 3.0 m Biaxial Seismic Simulators enable seismic researchers to evaluate structural performance during earthquake conditions with exceptional quality, reliability and cost-efficiency. These systems are designed for labs that conduct basic research and component qualification tests, and do not require the unique capabilities of a custom system. To ensure smooth integration, these simulators are engineered for fast, simple installation in existing facilities.

MTS standard biaxial simulators use state-of-the-art MTS FlexTest® control technology to replicate the exact displacement, velocity and acceleration of seismic events, enabling researchers to generate highly reliable, credible test results.

Other system highlights include a maximum specimen mass of ten tons, fatigue-rated actuators, intuitive software, and quiet, clean SilentFlo™ hydraulic power units.
