High-Frequency Test Systems
Superior control and accuracy for high-cycle fatigue testing
For certain materials, it is necessary to run tests for up to one billion cycles to understand the behavior of materials subjected to accumulated fatigue damage. Engineered to provide exceptional reliability and accuracy, MTS 1000 Hz high-cycle fatigue (HCF) test systems are capable of completing a one-billion-cycle test in just 11 days. This same test would require more than seven months with a traditional 50 Hz machine.
High-response servovalves and AdapTrac® Software enable our high-frequency test systems to maintain extremely tight control with very high waveform fidelity.
Optional environmental chambers and induction heat allow these systems to be used for determining temperature effects during fatigue testing.
