MTS damper test systems are engineered to determine the damping characteristics and service life of a broad range of test specimens with unsurpassed accuracy and consistency.
Our offering combines the latest in MTS servohydraulic load frame technology with advanced FlexTest controllers and the most feature-rich damper testing software available.
These flexible, easy-to-use solutions can accommodate single or multiple specimens. They can run a short burst of high-performing cycles to measure damping characteristics, or run millions of cycles for durability testing. The systems reach extremely high velocities and forces for performance testing, and operate at very low velocities and forces for accurately measuring the impact of seal friction and gas charge.
At any time, you can extend these systems to perform noise characterization (NVH), friction force testing, or static (pneumatic) or dynamic (hydraulic) specimen side loading.
