MTS' non-contact Advantage™ Video Extensometers (AVX) deliver multi-point technology for accurate measurements of strain, rotation and displacement. AVX delivers unprecedented speed, accuracy and flexibility for non-contact measurement.

All MTS contact extensometers are engineered to provide superior linearity, repeatability, hysteresis and ease of use, as well as low activation force. A unique cross-flexure system ensures strain gages are subjected to true center-point bending, and built-in overtravel protection helps you acquire accurate data both in tensile and compressive modes.
