End-of-Line Testing

End-of-line tests are short-duration, mechanical evaluations of full vehicles that often occur as an integrated step near the end of the production line. These tests can be automated inline operations that require minimal operator intervention, or offline quality audits when more detailed investigations are requried. Specimens are subjected to a routine set of forces to determine pass or fail status, based on established manufacturing tolerances for squeak-and-rattle properties or other performance characteristics. The key with such testing rests in accuracy, repeatability and ease-of-use, in order to successfully discover issues while keeping pace with the production line.
