MTS Criterion 41.103 Electromechanical Test System
Introducing the 1 kN MTS Criterion® 41.103 Universal Test SystemMTS Criterion systems extend the benefits of decades of MTS expertise and technology across the entire spectrum of testing, from the laboratory to a wide range of industrial settings. Engineered to work well for research and advanced development, these systems are versatile and offer rapid configuration, delivery and setup. The new Model 41.103 exemplifies all of these qualities.
This particular system is designed for test engineers who want lower force capacity for tests in displacement, load and strain control with the convenience of electromechanical actuation. Offering force capacities from 1 N to 1 kN, it can handle a range of materials including composites, paper, plastics, and consumer products.
Its high stiffness, single-column, tabletop configuration features a linear motion guide for superior alignment. It employs a high-speed, low-vibration electromechanical drive (3000 mm/min (118 in/min). This direct, non-clutched drive is rated for full speed at maximum force, so it provides smooth transitions across its entire range of speeds. The drive also features precision, pre-loaded ball screws and a world-class, maintenance-free AC servomotor and amp for better torque application.
MTS Criterion Model 41.103 Electromechanical Test System features versatile, easy-to-use MTS TestSuite™ TW software which now offers optional integration to National Instruments data acquisition hardware. It also includes a standards-compliant template library for ASTM, ISO and many others.
