MTS is pioneering the application of advanced simulation technologies and methods throughout all stages of vehicle development to realize new efficiencies, reduce costs and decrease time to market. To push the boundaries of subjective evaluation, MTS is collaborating closely with McLaren Applied Technologies (MAT) on the new MTS Vehicle Dynamics Simulator (VDS). The VDS offers a driver-in-the-loop approach with sophisticated low-latency sensory cueing, fully integrated MIDAS test management software from MAT, and an adaptable rFpro virtual environment that employs Concurrent real-time computing to immerse test drivers in highly realistic driving scenarios.
