In 2009, Toyota Motorsport GmbH officially decided to make its Formula 1 test facility and resident expertise available for hire to external customers. Meeting the needs of a broader community of vehicle developers and suppliers, however, would require modifications to the lab’s existing testing hardware and software systems. Marco Gehlen discusses the critical role played by MTS in helping TMG bring its state-of-the-art testing capabilities to a diverse new set of customers.
