Now, a new 32-channel MTS FlexDAC 20 unit makes synchronized data acquisition and control a cost-effective reality for an extended array of applications.
Like the original 64-channel system, the 32-channel MTS FlexDAC 20 unit delivers exceptional accuracy and reliability and supports quarter-bridge, half-bridge, full-bridge and high-level devices. While scalable to larger tests, its smaller channel count is right-sized for smaller test applications, such as component and materials testing performed with MTS servohydraulic load frames. The new system can also support up to 8 independent test stations at a time, enabling labs to gain more productivity from a single data acquisition unit.
The new 32-channel MTS FlexDAC 20 unit employs the same internal clock as FlexTest® controllers, enabling the seamless integration of the two platforms and truly synchronized control and data acquisition streams. This synchronization allows test labs to generate accurate, actionable test results, without having to devote precious time and critical lab talent to compensating for the data skew and jitter that are inevitable when data acquisition and control systems use different clocks.
The new system is compatible with AeroPro™ software, MTS TestSuite™ software and MTS Data Display, which enables test engineers to display plots, charts, readings, view limits and more for all 32 data acquisition channels, plus control channels, in a single convenient window.
