MTS Introduces AeroPro 5.2 Software for Aerospace Structural & Component Testing

New release extends enhanced testing functionality to a broad array of control and data acquisition hardware

– MTS Systems Corporation (NASDAQ: MTSC) today announced the release of AeroProT™ 5.2 software, the latest version of its proven control and data acquisition software for aerospace structural and component testing. Building on the powerful AeroPro platform, this new software version features enhanced functionality for more efficient and streamlined management of complex control and data acquisition tasks across a broad range of hardware platforms.

AeroPro software provides the flexibility, accuracy and repeatability required to achieve structural and component test objectives affordably and at high levels of efficiency. Featuring a state-of-the-art user interface and tightly integrated control and data acquisition functions, it is the industry’s only solution to combine the operation and analysis of up to 360 control channels and 10,000 data acquisition channels onto a single, user-friendly platform.

New AeroPro 5.2 software features include:

• TEDs support for VXI EX1629 hardware, which empowers users to incorporate TEDS-capable sensors into their data acquisition tests

• Test Verification Window

• Custom Wave form support, which enables users to create their own wave forms to meet unique testing requirements

• Custom Dynamic Link Library’s (DLL)

• Watch Signals, which give users the flexibility to take advantage of any signal in a test to trigger an event

• Support for VXI EX1529 and EX1629 hardware in same test, which allows EX1529 users to add new EX1629 hardware to their existing data acquisition system

• Support for up to 10,000 VXI EX1629 data acquisition channels

MTS will demonstrate new AeroPro 5.2 capabilities at Stand 1700 during Aerospace Testing Expo Europe 2007 being held in Munich, Germany, March 27-29.
