MTS Receives Innovation Award from Ferrari S.p.A.

Eden Prairie, Minn. – August 3, 2010 – MTS Systems Corporation (NASDAQ: MTSC), announced the receipt of the Podio Ferrari 2010 Innovation Award for technology advancements designed for Formula 1 race cars. The award was presented by Stefano Domenicali, Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal, to MTS chair, Laura B. Hamilton, in Maranello, Italy, "for the uniqueness of the company’s attitude toward innovation and its competence, relaunching the KERS challenge for the 2011 F1 season.”
