READ FULL STORYAdvances in the Application of Hybrid Simulation

Researchers in seismic engineering and other industries are deploying hybrid simulation as a tool for advanced design.
Hybrid simulation has successfully demonstrated its value as a method for understanding the dynamic behavior of civil structures in response to seismic loading. Consequently, the seismic research community has applied hybrid simulation technology to new structural problems, prompting further development of the technology’s tools and methods.

Researchers in biomechanical device, ground vehicle and wind turbine blade development have also recognized the potential of hybrid simulation as a tool for advanced design, and are continuing to explore new areas for its application.
