MTS helps a university engineering center add structural testing capabilities to its contract test lab.
  For nearly a decade, the Mercer Engineering Resource Center (MERC), part of Mercer University located in Warner Robins, Georgia, had been performing component testing for Robins Air Force Base. Meeting the Air Force’s needs for larger scale structural testing, however, were beyond the capabilities of its existing load frame.

Gerry Ringe, a MERC division manager, explains how MTS helped MERC specify and install the ideal high-force, high-capacity load frame to meet the structural testing needs of the Air Force and other potential clients.
