MTS helps Toyota develop a best-in-class driving simulator that opens exciting new possibilities in vehicle development.

 

Understanding how driver characteristics impact automotive design has long proven difficult for vehicle developers, largely due to the dangers of conducting the required tests on a test track.

MTS senior project manager Dick Baldner discusses a breakthrough driving simulator, developed by Toyota with a significant technology contribution from MTS, that combines state-of-the-art video, audio and motion technology to offer safe and thoroughly realistic driving simulation in a test lab.
