Optimizing tests that employ
cross-coupled actuation

A new MTS AeroPro™ software utility helps Cessna quickly and accurately complete tests involving highly coupled actuation schemes.
Compensating for how cross-coupled actuators affect one another in aerospace structural testing can be a complex endeavor, often requiring expensive proprietary coding and valuable internal resources to address. If proper compensation measures are not employed, test speed and accuracy can be compromised.

MTS aerospace product manager Dr. Christoph Leser discusses a new cross-coupling compensation C3 Performance utility for MTS AeroPro™ software, which helped the Cessna Aircraft Company add significant speed to its structural testing, while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy.
